MH bulbs

anyone got any reccomendations on a great 150 watt double ended HQI bulb? i would like to keep a few sps, monti's birdsnest, and mabe an acro.

also, how long does everyone leave their moonlights on? i was thinking like 30 min before lights out they go on and 30 min after lights on they go off.

My moonlights were on all the time when I was running that Orbit fixture on my 26.

I leave mine on all the time too.

all nite long.. sometimes i dont turn them on at all though just for a break, when I leave them on my star polyps and a few zoos stay open all night

I use an AquaController and it shifts the starting and ending times by 30 to 50 minutes per 24h as it tries to mimick the lunar cycle. Sometimes it's on during the day and barely on at night.

Same here now that I have the AC. I haven't done the dimming part yet though for the various moon intensities.
