MH whats wrong?

when i turn them on today they dont come all the way on, they just flicker, there only a week old,

Well what ballasts do you run? what bulbs do you run? are they exposed to any splashing water? did you handle them with your bare hands?

sounds like the starter or the bulb element?

its a aqualight pro 250 with two ballast, dr foster & smith is sending me two more bulbs,

Perhaps something overheated?

i was just turning them on for the day, every thing was cool, Dr foster says it could be the bulbs, there sending me two more, does any one know what there talking about when they say there a certin amount of start up time you need, did i reed one post saying 100hrs then it should be to its fullest, whats that all about?
