I know years back, Shaving brush, Maidens hair, Hemidia (money plant) was at the top. Than came the fad of mangroves. Is cheto just a another fading fad. I have always used CAULERPA PROLIFERA.

Mangroves are so 2000-late... It's all about flame algae now.

What do you use the Caulerpa for? Nutrient export? I think that the chaeto is a good option for that without going sexual. I anloy have a bit of Halimedia in my tank right now though...
