i had a dude just gave me like a 100 of those for free because they breed so quick. 8/ for 10 for those little starfish sounds a little steep.

Welcome to Reefcentral That has to be the all time rudest First post Ive ever seen ........I would call getting someont to give you a hundred mini brittles is very lucky ...Im kinda Jealous ...But to come in a slap some ones thread with no intetion of buying is rude ....if you think it is steep than dont buy any and leave it at that ........

Not to hijack your thread but how did you collect them, mine are wedged into any crevice they can find and don't let go very easily
WOW ,Hey Aquaticwonders I'm glad you like those and found use for them,as far as I was assuming they really served no purpose but I'm probably wrong.Its nice to help someone out thats fairly new to the hobby when everything is so expensive and those things are a dime a dozen.When ever I traded or sold a frag to someone I would always ask if they would like a bunch of those things for free.As far as I'm concerned If there is anyone new here and does not have any please e-mail me and come by and get yourself 20-30+more for free.We are a club here and not here to take advantage of each others.By the way WELCOME bro.Remember be a part of the club there are lots of good people here that would give you the shirts off their backs.

Why would you guys come onto someone's for sale thread and post that you would give them away for free? If you don't want to pay for them or if you already have them, post it in another thread. No one is taking advantage of anyone, he posted them for sale. If you want to pay for them then buy some, if not why post in his thread? As far as I am concerned Phil is a great guy, and someone whom I am very glad I have gotten to know. He is way generous when it comes to selling his stuff, so no he isn't taking advantage of anyone. Some common etiquette please.

Yes you're correct I feel like an a-hole .I was not trying to come accross malicious by any means thats not my style.I never considered that I might be lucky to have them because my tank has been runnin for a decade,and others might never had one .So again I apologize for my comment Thanx

No problems. I have pretty broad shoulders. I have sold them on frag swapper before along with other. Seen them offered on e-bay and other site for way more $$. It does take a little time to get them out of the tank. I take a rock or a rubble frag and leave it out of the water for a few minutes and the start to look for a wet place. When the come out of their hiding places, I lift them into a container. If your interested, cool. If not, thats fine.
Like many of my fellow reefers, just looking to offer surplus from my tank to other.

Good to hear Phil! Sorry again! I got kick off from trading coral because of it! Awesome right? Didnt realize my post would stir everyone up like that. I didnt know that they were so hard to obtain.
