Micro Bubbles and Sponges

I am having a problem with micro bubbles from my protein skimmer. I've read in other posts that they are not bad for the inhabitants of the reef tank but until I figure out how to fix the problem i was wondering if it 's bad for my sponges.

I've had very good luck with my sponges and don't want to loose them. I've also been battling the hair algae and don't want to stop running my skimmer either.

Could Micro Bubbles affect my sponges or are those air bubbles just too small?

( Before anyone says it, yes the hair algae is horrible, i'm finally seeing some results from all my hard work to get rid of it.)

if you have anough flow in your tank and the bubbles don't collect on the undersides you should be ok

I do have 2 power heads on opposite sides of the tank. If by the undersides you mean the undersides of the sponges I haven't noticed any, I keep checking to make sure bubbles aren't building up on them and they don't seem to be.

thanks for the response, makes me feel a little better. I would really hate to loose them.

The sponge is actually located in the middle of the tank and one of the powerheads pivets back and forth so it should be receiving flow from both sides and possibly different angles as the other pivets.
This is definately a relief.

thanks for the quick responses.
