Micro bubbles in my tank, need solution

Hi there, I seem to be having this micro bubble problem, when the watter enters my sump "the one in my sig", it does it with such force that it causes a foaming action on that side of the compartment "gazillions of bubbles", even though I have a nice think foam pad on that side, I can see some micro bubbles seeping under that pad and going towards my pump return side of the sump, which also has a thinner pad, which in turn end up in my tank "micro bubbles", what can I do to slow it down or hopefully stop this foaming action on the drain side of the sump, thanks in advance.

as you can see by the first picture all the foaming going on in the drain side, the return side is oposite end, where you can see my Pan World pump with check valve, hope the pictures helped.

Hard to tell from the photos, the first and easiest idea that comes to mind, is to put a Tee fitting on the end of the return hose. That would half the flow onto either side of the sump, make sure the Tee rest down on the bottom of the sump so as to minimize the bubbles further. Secure it with Duct tape for a trial and see how it works before cementing it on.

As a last resort you could try one of those large white filter socks on the overflow, they will trap the air, quiet, and settle the sump. They have to be cleaned often so if that's not a chore you want dont do it.
