Microscope

Hi guys about a 2 days ago or so I found myself on toys r us... and I saw a microscope, I felt really curious and I wanted to see what sorts of cool microscopic stuff I can find on my tanks.. The thing is I dont know how much magnification I would need to see all the type of stuff.. Obviously the ones there are for little kids I dont know if those work or I might need ones with more maginification the ones I saw there had x800 and x1200.. I dont know if anyone on here might know what magnification is needed to see all the microscopic life on my tank if anyone knows or has an idea let me know

Well i have one that my daughter and i have been playing around with. The max was 600. Really could nt see much. The cool thing about it is that it connects to the computer and we can see stuff off that the computer screen. I would go with the 1200x . 600 you could just start to see amoebas.

With x1200 you can see the shape of bacteria (stained), so x1200 is going to be fine!
