Midas Blennie - can it kill my Toadstool Leather?

I have a Midas Blennie that has recently took a liking to lounging inside my Toadstool leather. He used to have a special spot in the rocks but after some aquascaping that was disrupted. Now it takes every opportunity to just lay in the Toadstool like a personal lounge chair.

The problem is, this causes the Toadstool to be closed all the time. I'm worried that if this goes on too long it will kill it. It also makes the tank less pretty obviously as the tentacles are retracted most of the time now if that fish is bothering it. Before that leather was the pride of my tank and now I'm worried about it because of this Midas.

Any ideas?

LOL, silly Midas. Can you temporarily place the the leather at a different part of the tank? If not, maybe place some sort of plastic cover or cage over it while the Midas learns to find something else to perch on.

I moved the Toadstool to an area with higher flow, and that has kept him away so far.. Hope that works.
