I've had the Diamond Goby for about 3 years now (90 gallon mixed-reef tank) and am contemplating getting a Midas Blenny. I've heard mixed things with gobies and blennies being in the same tank but have also heard that the Midas Blenny is a "bit different" as they stay higher in the water column compared to the Diamond Goby so there shouldn't be any issues. I'm more-or-less just looking for confirmation that there won't be any issues.
My current stock list...
1x One-Spot Foxface
1x Diamond Goby
1x Neon Cleaner Goby
2x Ocellaris Clowns
1x Royal Flasher Wrasse
1x Rose Band Fairy Wrasse
2x Cleaner Shrimp
3x Peppermint Shrimp
Various Snails for CUC
I also plan on getting 1 more wrasse (undecided what kind, leaning towards a McCosker's or something else that is orange or yellow in color) and a Royal Gramma. I also need to be sure that there's no compatibility issues with my other future purchases, especially the RG as my gf really wants one
I've been going back and forth with getting an Anthias (Sunburst) for about a month now but have ultimately decided not to as I worry I won't be able to feed him multiple times per day, so I think I've decided on going with a Midas Blenny instead.
