Midas Blenny question

I am going to get another fish soon. I am have been thinking about getting a midas blenny. I have a 80 gallon. I currently have a fire goby, 2 shrimps, 1 conch, and 3 snails. I read that they are aggressive to fire gobies and cave dwelling fish. And that their aggressivness depends of the size of the tank right? Does that mean that the bigger the tank, the less aggressive? Answer me soon. Thanks

This is Wilma our Midas Blenny :) Best fish you will ever buy for your tank. They will look for a piece of live rock with a hole large enough for them to sit in and watch everything going on in and out of the tank. I would put the rock with the hole in it towards the top of your rock structure. Our Midas Blenny has never given any other fish in the tank a hard time. You can see her hole in the rock at the back of the pic.

Really only aggressive to the same species or othe bennies, eg: bi-color bennies.

I think the Midas Benny would be a good choice.

I love my midas blenny. He doesn't bother anyone in the tank, and loves hiding in his barnacle next to my starry blenny. Definitely a must add to your tank :)

I've been wanting a midas forever but LA seems to never get them in stock

I got mine from vividaquariums and they seem to usually have them in stock. I got mine 9 weeks ago, and tonight, he goes from my QT to the DT! I can't wait to put him in! They are, indeed, a gorgeous fish!

thanks for the advice, I had set up a hospital tank, and let it run for a few days. So far so good, and I did some tests. I thought about putting in a blue green chromis in to test it, but I think it will be good enough. I will try. They are pretty hardy.

I love my midas. Great fish. More of an open water swimmer than your typical rock perching blenny, so IME they don't even interact with rock dwelling fish.
