Mike's BB 80gal sps

This is the start of my 80 gallon dream tank. i am going to post pics within the next couple of days with my progress. This tank (once established ) will be predominantly SPS. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated. As of right now i am collecting all the equipment that i need and am working on the plumbing.

Equipment
80 gallon aga 48" x 17" x 24" (with black stand and 12" canopy)
30 gallon sump
asm g3 protien skimmer
starboard bottom
25gpd kent ro unit
phosban reactor and phosban media and chemipure with mj606 powerhead
mag9.5 return pump
tunze 6060 (in tank circulation)
2 100watt jager heaters
(this is all the equipment that i have so far)

Lighting
i havent purchased any lights yet but am torn between buying 2 250watt 10k aquamedic pendants or buying 2 400watt 10k retrofit kits and riging the hood



Filtration
40lbs of base rock under the 40lbs of established live rock from my 2 nanocubes.
NO SAND


Livestock
all zoas and various acans from my nanocube.
after tank is stable mainly montipora digitata and montipora capricornis species
possibly a pink birdsnest
1 yellow tang
1 6line wrasse (will he be ok without sand?)
1 true black perc (in my nano)
5 mexican turbos
25 astreas
pincusion urchin

my main questions???
will the wrasse be ok without sand?
with the 2 400 watt retros will i need a chiller?
what about 2 250 watts? still need chiller?
if i dose calcium is a reactor necessary?
will this tank still have a cycle if i use the 40 gallons of established water from my tank and the established live rock from my current tank? or will it just be like a big water change

The wrasse will be totally fine w/out sand.

I'd go with two 250W halides and as long as you have them an adequate distance from the water surface and use fans, you shouldn't need a chiller.

Dosing Ca is no where near as efficient as a Ca reactor. I think you'd be wise to invest in one.

The tank will experience a cycle but it will be minimal.

thanks for the quick reply , i was also figuring that the base rock may cause a bit of a cycle also, but i dont know how long it will be. i know someday im gonnahave to bite the bullet and buy the ca reactor but after i get all set up that will be my next investment.
