milk crates for live rock racks??

Has anyone used plastic milk crates as racks for live rock? How did it work out? Pics?

that would be one huge tank! lol

those milk crates are big. Thats probably the deciding factor. Dunno if the plastic is safe or not. Someone should know.

Hardware stores sell mini crates and regular size crates for storage and the combination of the two would give you a nice foundation.

ah nice. ive never seen the smaller ones.. read this thread and pictured those really big ones, that hold 4 milks lol, or the ones that record shops used to hold records in

uhmmm you can also cut the crates...shhh...just don't the the milk companies though as I think it's illegal to use the crates for anything other than milk. At least that's what the crates I get from Dellwood says on em.
