Milli Q water

Just wondering if it's safe to use for top off water? My mom works in a lab so she gets it free. Thanks in advance.

I thought Milli Q is a brand name for R/O DI unit use in Labs? If your getting 0 tds from your unit does it get any better???

that's the thing. my RO unit isnt working right so I've been using milli q.

yeah Millipore systems should pump out 0 TDS water no problem - distilled, deionized, and filtered so that it's completely sterile and free of particulates.

The newer MilliQ systems can really crank out good water much faster than any RO/DI systems most of us have. I think I can get close to 25 gallons per hour.
