millipora green body brown polyps

Hi I was wondering about the recoloring of brown out corals/ A.millipora, this coral seems to be coloring up well in its body tissue however the polyps seem to remain brown, it this common ?grrowth tips are pale green with brown polyps (could it just be a brown polyped coral)

I have a prostrata that is the same way and Im just as curious. Most of the base is green with paler tips and brown polyps. Ive only had it for a week now but I can let you know how she goes. How long have you had your mille?

Some coral polyps may stay brown with a single longer tentacle that may be white. Others may color up. My hunch is that they will stay brown.

I have had the millie for over 6mths however the brown out was around 4mths ago

I was kinda thinking the same as its has been so long now and the color these corals come in as never seem to hold well its growing and thats a plus, I'll let it be for now.
