Milwaukee SMS122 pH Controller

I'm looking to order this controller but have a question.

The controller will be controlling a calcium reactor and the probe will be in my sump, set so if the pH of the tank drops below 8.0, it shuts off the Co2. But by the description, the alarm will be on when pH is above the set point (8.0)? Something here doesn't make sense.

Will this controller do what I ask it too?

Ok, well I ordered it already. It should do what I want it to, but that alarm deal is what throws me. Sounds backwards. Alarm doesn't really matter to me as long as the unit shuts off CO2 if the pH drops below my set point.

I suppose it has to work like that or you wouldn't sell them as that's what there supposed to do.

Could you also email me that info. I have the same one and never could figure out how it worked, so I just didnt pluge the co2 into the controller.
