mini stars and a sexual reproduction

I read that mini stars are A Sexual. Can someone elaborate on what that means, how they reproduce. I have found some that have 3 big legs and 3 little legs, so I was wondering if this is one that divided itself in to two?

asexual (one word) basically means that means other than fertilized eggs as a means of reproduction. In the case of asterina stars, dividing or dropping legs is a means of reproduction and is asexual.
