Mini White Starfish

Hi. Am askin Q's on behalf of Sis, such as: Have mini white starfish that started with six legs, then split itself into two (three legs each), is this normal?

Ya, those stars usually just clean, rarely you may find a non reef safe one. I forget their name though.
