Here is the mini Zeovit I just made for my system which entails a 3.5 gallon 10 inch cube, a ½ gallon pico, and a 10 gallon sump.

Here’s a pic of it in the sump

Close up of it in the sump. The upper section is where the heater and sump are. The second chamber has the zeovit and floss, the front left is the refugium with a mangro and alge, and the front right is the return pump which is t-ed to feed both tanks.

I made all the calculations and have it written down somewhere, but I think it's like 80-100ml. I don't have the rock in yet gotta pick some up.

do you have a fts of your tank the skimmer looks pretty sweet as well do you have any shots of the skimmer as well????

Interesting how you chose to use soft plumbing like that, what is the advantage of that? Arent you worried about algae growth blocking the tubing?

Thanks.

Just seemed easier to soft plumb. The drain is quite a bit larger line then the inlet so clogging should not be a problem. And would algae growth not also be a similar problem in hard plumbed tanks? Juts make sure if you go with soft lines it's braded, so it wont colapse.

Well algae could be a problem if it weren't for the fact that most hard plumbing does not allow light in for it too grow.

ic... I guess it's a possiblity. I assume the flow washes any through, but only time will tell. I'll keep an eye out
