Hello everybody...

Can you share with me some pic's about "Minimalistic reef tanks" into a full Minimalist house?¿

I need to get some ideas to cover the sump area, aquascaping and everything else.. and if you have some ideas would be great for me...

This tank Im gonna setup soon is 80"x32"x32"... the area were it would be is fully white (minimalitic architecture) and I dont want "break" the architectural desing of the house..

I have ready a lot of equipment and basically Im gonna install 3 Lumenarc III with no canopy I think.. this is other point of the minimalistic desing.. "less is more" and the kind of simple stuff for decorate this kind of homes...

Thanks and I appreciated your help.

For the stand you can use steel I beams with only four legs for support. You could also use concrete blocks or poured concrete. Any type of masonry would work. You could also use solid wooden beams to span between the legs like 4x6 or 4x8s. Some of the hard woods like Ipe would be nice and are extremely strong for a stand and will not rot. I would have the equipment located in a sump away from the tank (in another room). You could have two overflows and two returns well hidden. You could run the piping through the stand to hide it. The returns can be drilled in the bottom and hidden in or behind rock work. You can also have the overflows come through the bottom of the tank and rise to the level you want the water line, at which point you have a screen. These would be placed in the back corners. You can use clear PVC for this which would look very cool. A few powerful Tunzes would provide flow and a minimalist feel. I would aquascape using large rocks with plenty of open space. Perhaps create two or three "islands" of rock. I would suspend the lights from wire from the sealing. The actual tank can make a difference also. I think using 1" - 1.5"acrylic would be very cool.

Here is an excellent thread

A larger tank inspired by Glassbox-Design's glassbox would be very cool (his blog also has featured a number of other modern tanks in the past):

Hello mcliffy2...

Thanks for the link of glassbox... I want to get something like that..

I think other good option is the kind of ELOS stands.. Has anyone pics of their ELOS System FTS's?¿

By now the house is under construction, the next weekend I hope the architech gives to me the keys of the house and then I could move all the stuff to the new house.. until then, I could start the installation of the new tank.. step by step and really slow...

The tank will be delivered the next week too so Im gonna take some pics when it arrives...

Thanks a lot.
