Missing Clown Fish

Can anyone help me? I had two clown fish in my tank last night and now there is just one. I don't see any remains on the bottom, but since I'm new to this I'm confused. Will my clown fish eat each other? They were both new fish and they entered the tank together (same species) according to the fish store.

Does any of the rock look like it's been moved if not give it a few days it may be hiding in the rock work:fish2:.

Did it jump? What other critters you got, crabs? anemones? Maybe it is under the rocks or in a cave hidden up under the rock.

I had a tank that had a couple fish disappear...I finally came to the conclusion if was a killer star I had...gave him to the lfs and the murders stopped happening...

check the floor around the tank (behind especially), the overflows and the sump.
