missing fish

i had two clowns mated pair .....
no from what it looks like the female is missing . cant find in the display or on the floor ....
i have checked the rocks .. didnt move them but i cant see her . is this normal for them to go MIA

In a word, usually, "no." When they go missing, it's usually for good. They are generally curious, not afraid of people, and will usually never miss a meal. Only time they may skip coming out for dinner is if the male is protecting eggs. If you see the male, the female should not be missing.

Good luck and I really hope you find her. I lost one of my picasso's like that and it put me through a week of hope and ultimately dispair. Never found that little bugger...must've been eaten by something.

in my tank beetween bristle worms and my brittle star and my 10 shrimp a dead fish would last 2 hours max i had a dead chromis that only lasted 12 minutes before being dragged into a cave and devoured
