Missing Mandarin

I have a 135 with (1) 1 1/2" overflow down to my 30 gallon sump divided in 3 comparment skimmer/return/ refugium. I have had him about six months and he is fed very well. about 3 days ago I said to the wife and kids Have you seen Norm (his name) anyway noone had. I just got done checking the sump and the overflow behind the tank and everything. Don't know if maybe the crabs got him but they have never messed with him before since they are also fed well. Any ideas or anyone else have this happen?

I had one that wedged himself between two rocks and died there. If yours did something like that, your CUC would have cleaned up and left no trace.

Depending on crabs, that might be the issue.

have some blue legged and red legged crabs I hope it didn't get stuck but he was a little on the hefty side I have a good supply of pods. looked again today and couldn't find him Well hopefully he just doing a really good job hiding from me He's are favorite fish thanks though
