missing shrimp . . .

In Memoriam
So I bought a skunk cleaner yesterday and still have no clue where it went. There is not enough rock in the tank to find great hiding places, the filter is not large enough for it to be sucked up, top of the tank is completely covered up, and the only other things in the tank are a coral beauty, green chromis, and maroon clown, oh and a few blue legs.
Any ideas?

Damn invisibility cloaks... Never let your fish watch Harry Potter!

ROFL!!! :D

Find him yet?
Probably should read how to train your peppermint shrimp to get some pointers on rearing shrimp in general....

haven't seen him yet, not a clue what happened. I used to have peppermints and fire shrimp in my old tanks but this was my first go at the skunk, didnt think it would be much different

I have skunks and peppermints. I see the peppermints about once a week or so. The skunks come out when I feed but other than that stay pretty well hidden. If he did die your CUC got quite the meal out of it though.... so in the end... someone wins, right?

it shouldn't be much different really. as long as skunks aren't chased and nipped at, and nothing you listed should, you should def see some sign of it in a 29. dead you would surely see the body or atleast the bits the hermits left. i have three skunks and a blood. when i added the first skunk i didnt see it for two days. it then got hungry and began popping out at every feeding. once i added more they all were much more comfortable and now i see atleast two of the three skunks at all times.... the blood stays fairly hidden but goes nuts during frozen feedings. anyway, dead or alive there should be some trace based on the livestock you've mentioned. good luck.
