Missisng Two Spotted Wrase

Intoduced a 3'' long two spotted wrase into display tank after 4 weeks in quarantine. He appeared to be in good shape and was eating. I have not seen him at all after he was intoduced into the display tank. It has been two days now and I am worried.

I know in the quarantine tank I would have to dig in the sand to
find him in order to feed him.

My concern : Is he alive or Dead?

When does he come out of the sand?

How will I ensure he eats?

Tank Set Up: FOLR 90 Gallon Tank with 3 inch live sand substrate.

Other fish:

1 Yellow tang
1 Hippo Tang
1 marron clown
1 marine Beta
1 Flame angle

I wouldn't worry too much just yet. My wrasse did the same thing when first introduced and now he is out all the time.

Also, is your tank covered? Wrasse are known for jumping.
