Mixing ULNS Products

Do any of you mix any ulns products?

I'm currently using prodibio & zeostart2 as the carbon source........i have been dosing these since the start of my tank back in March & tbh i haven't been that impressed as i have & still battling an algae issue but thats another story.

I'm not to sure whether to continue with the prodibio & zeostart2 & add other products or just change over to the zeo basic 4

it takes time, especially with a new tank. why use zeostart as carbon source? vodka is cheaper!

Different brands of vodka require different dosage levels so for me it was just easier plus tbh the zeostart will last me almost 2 years so it pretty cheap in it's self.

You say it takes time but the tank has been running 6 months & i have been dosing from day one but the tank still isn't the way i would of hoped

Increase the start2 dosage. On a 60 you should be using .2ml 2X a day or a bit more. OR you could pick up some MB7 from Brightwell aquatics. It would diversify the bacteria in your tank and make the carbon dosing work more quickly to clean your tank.

I have been dosing 0.25ml twice a day...........i will look into the MB7 as i have never heard of it
