mj mod parts

is there any stores in the coralville or davenport area that has parts to do the mods on a maxi jet. hard to find the props around here.

i live in new london which is close to burlington and mt pleasant, i have checked in both of those towns. so i was thinking of making a trip to either davenport or coralville. was wondering if anyone knew of a place in either coralville or davenport that had to parts. just trying to save a trip. if not i can always order from mj mods. just didn't want to wait.

I belive Hobby Town on Kimberly Rd. in Davenport, across from Aquatic Environments has the propellers and shaft material. Lowes or local hardware should have the pvc for the shroud.

Did you ever find everything you needed? I've been thinking of trying this mod and haven't gone to any of the local stores yet to check on materials. Just curious what you found in stock.

P.S. there is a hobby store in the Sycamore Mall in Iowa City which carries a lot of RC supplies, I assume they have props (or could get them cheaply).
