I have this sinularia in my tank for 11 years and I want to cut it apart but I'm wondering with all the exotic corals out there is anyone going to want one. So I'm not sure if I should frag large or small any thoughts?
Tom
Yeah I'm trying to get rid of it but I'm not sure if I should frag it large and bring it to a LFS or make little ones for people that might want it. You just don't see many of these for sale. People want color although it is pinkish.
Tom
It looks like there is enough separation at the base(s) of the colony to just cut the rock apart with a hacksaw and you'd end up with several nice sized colonies.
You wouldn't have to cut it through, if you cut it a bit, then put a flat head screw driver into the cut and give it a whack, the rock should split. All whacking should be done outside of the tank though
