Ok so i got a green monti cap in trade and the guy was great and we traded well and i got alot of great corals from him blah blah. I'd trade again with him. That's not what this is about. One of the corals i got from him was a Monti Cap (neon green). Under my lighting it looks as though it's white. But when it's pulled from the water it's dark green. Problem with this is that there are shades of green that can be seen and i'm wondering if it's the color growing back or it's algae. There's also cyano growing on it that i removed. Any ideas? Obviously it isn't bleached since it's still green under normal light but it this dead? I was told these polyps are very small and i can tell what is there in comparison to to the white coral. Thoughts? -Frank
