Well i got them, what bugs me is i am REALLY careful about dipping and inspecting all i get. Lucky for me i only have a few encrusting monties and about 4 digis.
I dont want to point fingers but i think i may have gotten them from live aquara, divers den. They are the only place i have ordered from in the last month and a half and due to the encrusting montie coming in on a large plug i could not cut the frag off the plugso i dipped it and placed it in my tank , and a few days ago saw on e of the suckers crawling on my glass. i checked all my monties non have them except the live aquaria frag and after closer look i found eggs on the underside of the plug.

So i put together a QT tank dipped and moved all my monties in to it, gonna do the dip every 4 days. One question how long should i wait before it is safe to put them back in to the main display?

never :D

Seriously, they are a PIA to rid entirely from your system.

Dude, thought you were "out" again, what gives?

I never really left I just got rid of the 75
Wow blast from the past easily distracted!!!
So if they have nothing to eat what do you think a month or 2?

I would do 8 weeks. Perhaps put a wrasse in the qt tank. Look into the Bayer pesticide dip. There are some threads on it.

BTW- Just because we moved doesn't' mean you can get rid of us. ; )

sorry to hear K...I had them a few years ago(what pest haven't I had!) the only real way I got rid of them was getting a few wrasses. My sixline and yellow took care of them, but I don't recommend the six because they become terrors. I have a Leopard which does a great job looking for pests also, but they are alittle harder to get them to eat at first.
