Monti Eating Nudibranches

Do these nudibranches only eat monti's or is it their coral of choice?

I am currently working on getting rid of them, and have started moving my monti corals to a QT tank.

However, I want to make sure if I QT my monti's, the nudibranches that remain in my DT will starve to death.

If so, how long will it take?

Of course I am trying to get out most of the nudibraches during the coral removal, but I have to be realistic and assume some will fall off or be missed in the process.

I am trying to avoid dosing my DT, but that may be the only option depending on their ability to survive.

They also eat Anacropora, but doubt you have any of that. I'd go monti-less for as long as you can, but at least 6 months to be safe. There is no whole-tank treatment for these, FYI.

They will eat montis only as far as i know i was able to successfully get them out of my tank. I only have a 12 gallon what i did is everytime i looked at the tank i picked out the ones i could see with tweezers and took out my montis to get the eggs off them which the nudis lay on the bottom it took a couple months to get rid of them but i have not seen one in probably 4 months.
