Monti eating Nudis AND Red Bugs

I need to know what people have said to their local veterinarian to get a prescription for Interceptor...because I am pretty sure my local vet did not take me seriously when I asked...

In regards to monti eating nudis...HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THEM?!?!

A dip in potassium permanganate and a prayer.
Othwerwise QT all your montis, let the nudis win, and start over in a few months.

PS A few years ago I needed interceptor and brought my Vet one of the online articles about it, and he was happy to sell me some.

KMnO4 apparently helps. I've gotten over it with a LOOOOOT of manual inspection over the period of quite a while. You can take them out that way if you don't have tons, but it still takes a lot more time and effort. Using both is only better.

doc is right about the nudis, take out the non infected and QT them and then let them eat themselves out of food. wait 6 mths and restock.

some wrasse will control them christmas wrasse helps my tank allot. lol for nudis that is. for redbugs bring them to the vet . they didnt think i wuz crazy. or tell them to search the web.

got the interceptor and treated....now just need to get a wrasse...

a yellow wrasse will help. i have had this battled and lost, tried everything and ended up killing the corals and $600, there is a nudi that will eat them but finding it hasnt panned out for me
