I have a melanarus wrass and he doesn't go after them. Seem like wrasses are hit or miss as a preditory fish for pests. He does have the biggest gut I have seen though mostly going after pods

True for all but radiants. The halichoeres iridis will eat them. I've yet to hear of one that will not. I thought I had one that avoided them, until I sat and watched the tank for a couple hours straight and bam! bam! When it sees them, it gets them.
