Monti's Bleaching

Hi All,

I have a monti cap, setosa and mindtrick all in different spots of my tank (mid and high) that are showing bleached spots. Does this mean too much light or not enough? I'd be surprised if it was too high since I'm only using one Kessil A160WE. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention I have a digitata, stellata and reverse sunset monti's that are all doing fine.

I found that if all other parameters are in line that you could have a nutrition problem. What are your PO4 and NO3 at?

I found that >5ppm NO3 brought my colors back and @10 they where even better.

I have one 360WE over my 40 gallon breeder and my monti's do fine. I have higher nutrients though. Maximum light imput is up to 62 percent for a few hours.

Thanks. Pretty sure my params are good but will update with my weekly testing tomorrow. I'm running my 160 at most at 30% color and 60% intensity for three hours. Overall light cycle is 14 hours including minimum actinics.
