moon coral dying

I purchased the coral about 3 months ago and it was doing great. Just recently I moved it towards the top and within a week there was some discoloration. At that point I moved back to the it's original place, but it never recovered. Damage was done, and now its to the point where you can see parts of the skeleton showing through the edges, and it's progressing at a fast pace.

Any thoughts on how to save this coral from dying.

Thanks.

If the tentacles are extending at night, or if they are not, try direct feeding in a quarantine. Mysis or cyclops. With some lighting if possible.
