Moon(pineapple)Coral Spawning???

I was walking by my tank at around 8:00 tonight and I just happen to look at my tank when I see my moon coral shoot out this white stuff from everyone of the mouths. Its been about an hour now and it looks like its back to normal. Could this have been a spawning?

I dont believe they spawn that way.
I think they bud off and actualy "drip" off polyps as well as encrust further.

They are capable of reproducing in two primary ways--sexual (spawning) and asexual (extrusion, bail out) reproduction. It sounds as though yours is in the midst of the former.
