Moon setting with Profilux LED red,blue white flashstick

Im having issues setting up the Moon setting.. I have the flashstick connected to L1/L2 and can turn the lights on with the Light scenarios sliders on L1 and L2 but I cant make them come on automatically for the moon light. The storm works find and comes on auto but moonlight does not. I have them set as dimmable and have them checked in the simulation but they dont come on at the set time. I have L1 and L2 turned on Illumination 1 and 2 screen to come on at the same time as the Moon light as per the instructions.
I did just set this tonight. Do I have to wait until the timer turns them on or if I set them to come on at 9pm and its 9:05 will they not come on until next time its 9pm?

What is the function of the Light Mixer? Is it to play with the lights to get the correct color etc?

The lunar function is completely different from the mixer and channels, etc. If you click on SIMULATION, you'll find the moon is somewhere around 50% at the moment (on the west coast anyway - not sure if it's different where you are). You'll need to click on the on and off cycles for moonlight in the simulation area.

2 things are important for operation of a LED-stick as moon-light:

1. define a "illumination run" as you do this for all other lamps
2. enable simulation for this channel

BOTH things must be done - please read the manual again, there I explained this

how do you have them set up in your canopy ?

I dont at the moment.. I have my profilux on but its not really doing anything but monitoring Temp and PH. Its more for the new tank that Im setting up.

Yea I just ordered one soup to nuts but now tey dont have the stick in stock but offered me 2 of the small cubed ones and im tring to figure out wait the month for it or get the 2

Tanya: I have a 6' tank and I have one stick. I have it in the center of the tank and it produces a great red sunrise in the morning and a great moonlight at night. It's kind of like most of the light is in the middle, but fades off into the background and the sides. I don't know how the spotlight ones look.

I will get another stick, but right now it looks great and doses a nice job with lightning and flashes.

thanks fishie...... Ill have a 4'x3' tank so for another 120bucks for it im skepital if it will spread or not like the stick will

I think you'll like the stick. You probably only need one. Make sure you get the SIMU stick that you can program for sunrise, monerise and flash.

yes thats the one I ordered. I ordered everything that they make for the controller including 2 dimmable t5 ballasts (which they only had one in stock )

I raised the stick using two 1/2" thick pieces of plywood to make sure none of the light would be overshadowed by the reflectors.

Yeha i am building a new tank and gonna have lumenbrights in the canopy so I will have to figure out how to mount them
