Moonlights, which ones?

I recently upgraded my power compacts with built in moonlights to a tek 5 lighting unit and now I have no moonlights... Any one have moonlights for sale or can recomend a good set for me. What work better the strips that are like rope lights or the "spot light" type? Seen the both? Not sure which is better though. My tank Is five feet long So I would need two spot light type(says their good for 2-3 feet of tank per light) or I need a 60" strip light. Thanks gor the help a head if time

If you have a reefkeper the MLC module with the led moonlights seems to work well. They can be tough to mount. here is a picture of how i mounted them with acrylic blind adjustment rods (looks better with a clean tank )

I have a set of moonlights for sale- They are Powerbrites. I have never heard of Orleans county, so I'm assuming we're pretty far apart. This brand isn't sold new anymore, so if you are buying new I'm not sure what the best brand of led moonlights are (anyone know the new equivalent for the Powerbrites?).

should moonlights put usable par into the tank? I believe the powerbrites do - could be good or bad, I don't know. my moonlights are pretty dim and go with the lunar cycle which could be more of a sales ploy than anything else - it does sound cool though!

Dunno if it is bad to have PAR. Do you actually leave them on all night? A lot of people use them for just awhile after shutting down the actinics. Myself, I run the T5 actinics until I'm done looking at the tank for the night; the moonlights are a much deeper look, which really makes the colors on the corals pop, but I can't see the fish well (makes my orange clown look black) so I prefer to leave my T5s on until I go to sleep.

I know some do the moonlights to stay on a natural cycle with what they would get in the ocean- that's cool. Do you know if people have had some successful coral spawnings because they added moonlights?

hello,
im about two hours from ithica,im in ketn which is in orlean county. right in between niagara county and monroe county.
Im not really intersted in the spawning of my coral (as that can pollute your tank ive heard) im more so intersted in having the moon lights on my tank i think. I miss seeing something when the other lights are out. I dont like the black hole that is in my living room when all is shut down.
Coulld you send me a pic of you moonlights NEWREWEFLADY??
