more support needed?

I am in the middle of upgrading from a 15g to a 42g tank. There is going to be about 100lbs of live rock. I'm a little concerned that the wieght of the live rock will be to much for the glass bottom. The stand does not support the entire bottom of the tank, only the two ends. Any thoughts on this would be great. Thanks

It'll be fine. Most tank bottoms are made of tempered glass.

I agree with alan. Most factory stands only support the edges, nothing in the middle.

Just the two ends?? You mean the stand doesn't support the edge all the way around? That sounds like trouble without any rock...

thanks guys, and yes myka there is no support for the middle edges just the sides.
