That is just stock 2/4 for the ends. I cut it into small blocks to use as mounting points.
As you can see int he pics I used corner braces that attached the 2x4 to the canopy.
To the 2x4 I also attached a drawer slider rated for 90 pounds I believe. Whatever the top rated one at Home Depot is.
For the frame it is simply 1.5x1.5 inch slotted galvanized steel corner brackets, straight galvanized slotted piece, and corner brackets. The bottom pic above shows it the best I think. The end that the splash guard does not slide out of the corner brackets are on the inside. On the other end they are on the outside AND I only used one nut and bolt on each end of the corner bracket so that it can pivot ever so slightly. This allows the fixture end to drop ever so slightly making it easy to slide out the splash guard.
