Mounting light with a vaulted ceiling?

Well, about a month ago I moved into a new apartment and am in the process of setting up a new 75 gallon. Here is where the problem is. I bought a 48" captive sun MH fixture, and it didn't come with anything to mount it. Well, I would just hang it from the ceiling, but I have 16 foot vaulted ceilings, and I am having NO luck finding any legs to mount it on. Any suggestions?

You can still hang it from the ceiling. You can rent or buy 12 foot step ladders that will easily put you within reach of the ceiling......

I just put a 1x up on the ceiling, screwed into the rafters, joists, studs, what ever you call them and used screw hooks and chain from that.
