moving mushrooms

I was wondering if there is a way to pop a small mushroom off a rock and move it?

I think you can cut it off and then let it sit in a cup or Tupperware with rubble until it reattaches. Mushrooms are pretty hard to kill.

thats what i keep reading. i was just wondering if i can use a razor blade to pop them off.

The razor blade should be fine.

thanks for the advice i just want to see them and they are on a piece of live rock all around it.
