Hello friends,
I've got one too many aquariums. To cut down on maintenance, I'd like to move all of the livestock in a smaller 30 gallon to a much larger 90 gallon system. The 90 has been running for almost a year and has no problems.
I have corals, fish, and inverts in the current system I'd like to move. I need a frag system and I figure this is a perfect way to avoid buying a new tank entirely. My issue is that the smaller system has green hair algae at the moment. The last thing I want is to transfer it to my bigger system. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have at least 20 corals that need to move, but many of the plugs have some GHA on them. There is also some stringy algae coming out of the rocks. What would you do were you in my situation? I don't want to transfer this gunk to their new home.
Thank you!
