Moving tank questions

I am installing new floors in my living room where my 75 gallon tank is located. Decided on laminated flooring after weighing the options. I have two major concerns:

1) weight of tank on the new floor.

2) presence of water and possible spills.

I'm thinking of placing a sheet of Hardibacker material under my stand to help spread the weight of the tank (approx 1300 lbs) and be a buffer in the event of spills during routine maintenance. BTW my foundation is slab. Any suggestions?

I don't think the Hardi backer will help much if you are on a slab, however if you're anything like us and have fairly regular spills, plan on water eventually getting under the laminant flooring

If it was me I'd save some extra flooring with plans of re-doing that sections when you move, or move the tank, You may also get indentations in the flooring, regardless of whats underneath
