Moving tanks

I'm gonna be moving up from a 55 gallon tank to a 120. I have a 3 inch (or so) clam:

It's well attched to the rock it's setting on and I was wondering how to move it to the new tank.

Can I remove it some how from the rock it's on or do I need to leave it where it's at and move the rock?

If I can remove it, how do I do it safely?

Leave it on the rock.
I would like to know the proper way to remove a clam form a rock. That is if there is a proper way.
