MP 40 placement?

Hey Guys...

I'm running/starting a 225 gallon sps reef. I had a single MP40, that I was just running full blast - pretty much al the time.

I've just aquired two more MP40's, and would like help/recomendation for programing them with my Apex.

Right now, I just have the single mp40 on an outlet that is just on/off when i need it.

If it were you, how would you set the programming with three of these?

Alos, where would you place them in the tank? Right now the single one is near the surface..top right.

I would look at one on either end, then one in the middle rear. I have one on my 75 and it seems to get good flow for about 3 feet, so I expect that the ones on the end will just reach to the middle of the tank. Alternatively, you might be able to trade 2 of the -40's for an MP-60.

Assuming your -40's are wireless, do you have the WXM module for the Apex? The extent of my knowledge with the Apex is that you need the wireless module to control the MP's.

For what it's worth, I keep mine on Reef Crest 24 hours/day at 100% and run NTM once every few days for a while. If I had a controller, I would probably pick a time of day where the noise wouldn't be an issue and run it for an hour or two during that period.
