MP10 setup ?

I had a MP 10 in my tank so long I forgot how it attaches .
I thought I put them on the glass the same as a MP 40 but every time I do it the dry side falls off .
Is the dry side supposed to be glued to the glass?
Is there a gasket missing between dry side and glass?
It was working great until the wetside exploded but eco-tech replaced it but I can't get it working.

There is a rubber disk that goes between the glass and dry side, but it is also magnetized with the wet side. Are you feeling the pull at all? The dry side shouldn't be falling at all.

Yea feeling the pull but when it start to spin will loose its grip within mins

How thick is your glass? I used to run the mp10 on 1/2" and it barely held. You need to use the double sided sticky tape to hold up the mp10 if your glass is thicker than 3/8". They were really designed for tanks 3/8" or smaller.

Had the same problem. Try connecting wet and dry side with unit unplugged. Also the cable must be secure towards the top of the tank. If not the wet and dry side will move downward in time.

Make sure the rubber spacer is clean. If found that my dry side slides/falls when the spacer is dusty or dirty.

Yea, heard this is common to older mp10
Guess the dryside magnet wears out. I'll just superglue to hold in place.
