MP10 slowing down flow with foam filter

Hey guys, I've been running a MP10 in a 20g and noticing I would like even less flow then the lowest setting. I'm wondering if the foam filter you can put on these help slow down the flow?

Brad,

Using the foam guard on your wetside will reduce flow slightly, but assuming the guard is kept clean the difference in flow will be marginal.
