Hey Guys quick question I recently just got another side job and have been told by the boss lady all the money from it can go to my tank! :celeb2: Anyway My Question is on a 125 Tank what kind of setup would work so I wont have bulky powerheads in my tank and have a clean looking setup.

1-2 MP40's
1 MP40+1 MP20
etc or any other setup ideas are welcomed Thanks :)

lol Would love to as your right its a SWEET deal on both of them But wont start the new job for another 2 weeks so its a no go darn deals teasing me lol

I have a 140 cube and I run 2 MP40's and love the wave effect I am getting out of them. I have redone the wave probably 8 times this week and always ohh and ahh over the different patterns it creates. Check the sale threads often, that is where mine came from. I payed roughly $700 for two MP40's and a backup battery.

Yea I was thinking that would be a great place to start as Im always seeing them for sale there so I would be safe with 2 MP40s as the only flow for the tank then?

Oh yeah, the SPS are hairy and blowing in the breeze. I have a mag 9.5 pumping from the sump into two loc-lines, but that is just agitating the surface more than anything. The vortechs provide plenty of flow, they just take a minute to adjust for the best placement and speed, etc.

The battery has 2 ports on it. I have the Ice Cap one that they first made available. Ecotech makes their own now and Ice Cap no longer supplies them. I am 99% sure that they have only 2 ports as well.

Not a problem, glad I could help. Also, if you get a backup battery be sure to get the new power cables(s) from ecotech. They have an in-line fuse from the battery to the vortech. They recalled the old ones.
