Is there anyway to tell if the controller is bad or the motor. Have a 2011yr.

Here is what I have tried. Switched power pack, no change.
Tried different wetside, no change.

Run the motor without wetside goes to blinking red but motor still pulses

Runs for about 60 sec on any mode then goes to blinking red, but the pump still pumps but in short burst.

tried re upgrading, goes to flashing red/yellow.

When motor is running, seem to run smooth and does not seem to get hot

What's your best guess?

Daniel,

It sounds as though the controller may be the issue. That said unless you have other components to test with, it will be impossible to be 100% sure. Personally, I would recommend sending the unit in for service as we do not charge for our time only for parts. If you would like to send the pump in, please go to http://ecotechmarine.com/support/request-service/ and fill out our Return Materials Authorization form to receive the necessary email and other information you need to send in your part/pump for service.
