After moving I lost the powercord to my mp60. I purchased an aftermarket powercord and everything seems to work fine until I try to put the pump in night mode or sync with another pump. What are the chances this is from the powercord vs damage to the controller from moving etc? Any advice?

That is most likely unrelated to the powercord you're using. Is the blue "W" illuminated on your controller when you power it on? If so, I would recommend doing a soft reset on your controller. Please follow the steps below:
1. Hold down "Mode" And "Set" until the controller flashes Red/White/Blue
2. Hold "Mode" until the controller flashes Red/Purple
3. Finally hold "Set" until the controller turns solid Green
